It feels good to be back! I want to thank all of you for your unwavering support these past few months. As some of you know, I recently took a mental health break due to a family emergency that happened last Fall. It shook me to my very core and left me broken and picking up the pieces. The two biggest things I learned from that time are:
Mental health is totally underrated. It's one of those diseases that we don't know a lot about and affects each person differently.
We are never truly alone... It's an illusion and we are loved far more than we know.
I was shown so much love by many close friends and family. Thank you, I appreciate each and every one of you.
AHHH. Now onto the good stuff! You guys, I have been working SO hard on some amazing stuff. I took my downtime to sort out and update my business and create some cool programs, recipes, group challenges, collaborations, and more! Just wait until you see what I have planned. It's going to rock.
My mission at EMPOP is to bring out the best in others, whether it's a healthy body image or a healthy state of mind. I want to encourage you instead of dumping all my knowledge on your like some dreaded "to do" list. Life is about living life to the fullest and I don't believe that's attainable when you're hating yourself, picking apart your body, eating crappy food, and just darn negative in general. (You'd think I knew first hand or something!) ;)

As a health influencer, I feel it's my duty to keep things simple. I want to be honest and... guys, I just want to be real. I want to write like I picked up my journal and just started scribbling my thoughts and knowledge. I'm done trying to act perfect, like I know it all and writing it in a college essay format. Let's go this journey together and have some fun along the way!
Just remember health looks different on everyone. We're all in this together... Annnnnd I'm so excited to be back!
