Gratitude

December 20, 2019

Tis the season to be grateful! It doesn't take much to look around and count your blessings. Each day take some time to renew your gratitude for all things, big and small.

During the holiday season, it is easy to be overcome with stress and feel anxious constantly. An easy way to combat that is by taking a moment to express gratitude. There are many ways to express so I decided to write them down and share them with all of you!

Write it down in a personal journal. Each day write down a minimum of three things your grateful for each day. Reflect on the good in your life, write it down!

Say a prayer/meditate. Take time each day to thank God for all of the blessings you have in your life.

Write a thank you note to someone you're thankful for. Letters are becoming a scarcity in today's world. Take a moment to write a note of gratitude to someone you care about!

Cook or bake for someone. Food can do wonders to bless someone's life. If you are aware of their dietary lifestyle, cook them their favorite meal! Gratitude is easily spoken with food.

Thank someone servicing this country. Whether it's a police officer, EMT, solider in the military... Stop and take a moment to thank them. They work around the clock keeping us safe!

The more you practice gratitude, the more easily it will come! A grateful heart is a happy heart. I hope that you are blessed by this post. Please take care and have a great Holiday!
