Glamour Challenge: The Secret to Performing Better Each Day

With isolation dragging on and on is easy to get more and more comfy with your sweats and a messy bun. Donning normal clothing makes you cringe and the idea of applying makeup feels like attempting to climb Mount Everest. Who cares, right? No one is going to see you anyway.

 

Well, I have decided to run a challenge for this month! It will be called the glamour challenge. I am hoping to motivate you ladies while I motivate myself as well! 

 

How it works is every single day (including weekends) you will do your normal beauty routine, do your hair and wear clothing that is not PJ’s or sweats. In fact, bonus points if you wear a full out glamour outfit. (They do say that saving things for special occasions is so old school and no real joy comes from that, so break out the diamonds and silk blouses… let’s celebrate every day like it’s a special occasion!)

 

The reasoning behind this is that even though you spent 15-30 mins. Of your morning getting ready, you will be much more productive with your day. Studies have shown that when you take time to better yourself (even washing your face and brushing your hair) you perform at a higher level the rest of the day. 

 

Not only will you be more productive but your mental health and confidence will feel a boost as well. There have been studies that show the more you take care of yourself, the better you feel about yourself… On the very first day! Keep doing it consistently and I promise you will feel amazing by the end of the month! 

 

Doing this challenge daily will also help form a more positive habit of self-care (you can leave those sweatpants in the dust!), setting up a routine to glamorize yourself will lay down the foundation for healthier hair, skin, teeth, etc! Just think: the more you take care of yourself and groom yourself, the more your body will respond!
